Two women working within the Soviet-era inspired complex where the film Dau is being made. They are dressed in clothes of the era and all the fittings are Soviet-era too. whether filmed or not. The vast site being used for the film was created by director Ilya Khrzhanovsky and is called The Institute. It has been made to look like 1950s Russia in keeping with the film which is about the life of the physicist Lev Landau. Within the set's compound all actors, staff and visitors are required to dress and behave in the manner of a Soviet-era totalitarian regime, giving the production, according to some reports, the feel of a sociological experiment.
