Kathmandu, NEPAL

Victoria undergoes various examinations at the Annapurna Neurological Institute in Kathmandu. The result of this EEG-test is a positive surprise to the doctors. It shows that the electric impulses in her brain are similar to the ones of a normal child. 19 month old Victoria (formerly named Ghane) was born with hydrocephalus and was left abandoned. Cecilie Hansen was so moved by the story of Ghane she read in a Danish newspaper that she decided to fly to Kathmandu to try to assist her and show her the love of another human being; Cecilie eventually became her legal guardian. Victoria died on November 19 2010 from heart failure.
