Vladimir Georgevich Kazantsev (born 1951) is head of the records department at the Documentation Centre of the Recent History of Tomsk province. He is in the middle of computerising the files of workers from a tool factory that was relocated from Moscow to Tomsk in 1942, as a consequence of the German invasion. Kazantsev has held this job since 2002. He is married and has a son. Wages: 10,000 roubles (£200) a month.
