Bor, SUDAN

Workers from IOM (International Organisation of Migration) sit at the bow of a barge organised by IOM and other UN (United Nations) bodies to resettle displaced persons after the civil war. The two-day long journey up the River Nile will return Dinka tribespeople from Juba to their homeland of Bor. Tens of thousands of Dinka tribespeople are among the estimated 3.8 million people displaced during the two-decade long conflict between the government and the SPLA (Sudanese People Liberation Army).
