Zeme Naga villagers from Mabauram village patrol the area and provide security to other villagers. Recent ethnic clashes between the Dimasa and Zeme Naga tribals have left scores of people dead and tens of thousands of people homeless after houses were set ablaze in the North Cachar Hills of Assam.
