A boatman attempts to approach a house built on a small island in the San Blas Archipelago protected from the sea by a coral wall. Islands in the archipelago are suffering from destructive tidal surges and human overpopulation, forcing the indigenous Guna people to abandon their islands and resettle on the mainland.
