Mangroves National Park, Democratic Republic of Congo
A family living on Kimwabi Island in the Congo River estuary prepare and cook clams caught in the surrounding waters. The national park is a veritable maze of islands and channels where the main activity is diving for clams which are cooked and sold as well as eaten locally.
