Castlederg, Co. Tyrone, Ireland

A fortified police station at Castlederg. The Northern Ireland Police Service had been trying to sell this and two other fortified police stations along the border but recently took all three off the market, citing uncertainty over the outcome of Brexit as a reason to keep them for possible future use. The town of Castlederg is a mixed Protestant and Catholic community. It was the most bombed town in Northern Ireland during the so called 'Troubles'.
