A group of stranded travellers sit under a water tank during the day as temperatures rise. These residents of South Australia are camped out in a roadside truck stop in the middle of the outback, around 50km from the nearest town and 10km from the South Australian Border. The truck stop has a toilet and water that is not fit for drinking. Some of the travellers have supplies to eat and caravans, while others are sleeping in their cars and running out of food and water. Covid restrictions have meant that the state border has been closed between the two states.
