Weh Island, Sumatra, INDONESIA

A man uses his mobile phone outside the 'Sunset Cafe', at dusk, in Sabang, the northernmost town in all of Indonesia, and capital of Weh Island. Following a peace deal with the central government Aceh is now classified as a Special Region and life is recovering after the devastation inflicted by the 26 December 2004 tsunami and decades of armed conflict. Tourism, agriculture and its own natural resources are driving the economy of the region which is the first in the mainly religiously moderate archipelago to formally instigate Sharia Law.
