A patient looks through a door made of wooden bars in a room at the Jesus Divine Temple. Staff there say they stopped using chains to restrain people with mental health conditions two years ago and some patients are now allowed to walk freely through the church grounds but four residents, two men and two women, they consider aggressive or at risk of harming themselves or others are locked alone in small rooms in a building at the back of the property. Jesus Divine Temple staff say that in the past they worked with the government's Mental Health Authority who would visit and provide psychiatric medication to those they deemed required it, but they say, these visits have stopped recently. Residents with mental health conditions receive medicine when it is available, otherwise they rely on prayer to heal them.
