Belgrade, SERBIA

A residential tower block containing 118 Juri Gagarina Street where, Jovan Djogo, former Bosnian Serb general Ratko Mladic's bodyguard, in a court testimony, said that Mladic rented an apartment between 2003 and 2006. Prosecutors believe that General Mladic, one of the most sought after suspects from the Bosnia conflict who has been indicted by the UN war crimes tribunal on charges of genocide and crimes against humanity, was living here for at least two years during that time. In the background, some 8 minutes walk away, are the apartment blocks where former Bosnian Serb politician Radovan Karadzic was living at the time of his arrest for war crimes in 2008. (Mladic's apartment is at bottom right. Karadzic lived in an apartment block just behind the far right block in the background.)
