Kocho (Kojo), Sinjar, Iraq

A soldier tries to calm a group of distraught women as the funerary procession for 103 Yazidi victims of ISIS terror passes them by. Having been exhumed from the mass graves, where they were dumped following their murders by ISIS in the village of Kocho in 2014, the victim's remains were identified using DNA samples before being returned to their home village for burial.
