After a wait of many hours, people squeeze onto a carriage on a train which is heading to Poland. Huge numbers of people, mainly women and children, have gathered at the train station in Lviv, the main hub for people trying to escape the war in Ukraine. Most of the refugees here are heading to Poland arriving on trains that come from all over the country. The thousands of mostly women and children have to wait many hours in long queues despite the freezing cold.
