An abandoned farm on the banks of the dry riverbed marking the old course of the Taquari river in the Pantanal region of Paiaguas. With the silting up of the river the waters have ended up 'breaking' the banks, causing the river to abandon its original course and permanently flooding an area of hundreds of thousands of hectares.
