An abandoned Kolmanskop ghost town near of Luederitz, Namibia. Kolmanskop was under colonial rule in 1908 a German founded booming diamond mining community until it was abandoned in the 1950s and was left to the mercy of the shifting desert sands. It lies inside the Sperrgebiet, an resitricted area and forbidden zone to enter.
