Angelina Monday (30, left) with her children and other relatives, refugees from South Sudan, in the town of Bosia about an hour's walk from where they crossed the border after walking for more than a week.
The family fled South Sudan after the area where they lived was attacked by government forces and several family members were killed. After hiding in the bush with her children for several weeks they eventually managed to find a safe passage and escaped on foot into Uganda. Angelina says she has no plans to return to South Sudan. Instead, she will work hard to build them all a better future in their new home.
