Boys playing in a the remains of a building destroyed during Typhoon Haiyan. Typhoon Haiyan, or Yolanda as it is known in the Philippines, made landfall on 8 November 2013 and was one of the deadliest typhoons to hit the Philippines, killing over 6,000 people and displacing millions. When it struck Haiyan had sustained wind speeds of 190 to 195 mph, making it one of the strongest typhoons ever.
