'Canalival', a flash mob event in London's East End, during which revelers launched inflatable dinghies and other home made watercraft into the Regent s Canal for a day long floating party. Advertised on social media as the 'Atilla the Hun of Flotillas' it was cancelled by organisers at the last minute due to health and safety concerns but thousands didn't get the message, or decided to ignore it, and show up anyway.
