Cape cormorant chicks lie under a warming lamp at SANCCOB (Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds). The birds were among almost 2,000 abandoned by their parents on Robben Island, prompting the largest seabird recue mission the country has seen in 20 years.
