Carolina Molina, a teacher, records a video of hoola hooping to send to her students.
Carolina, 29, is a teacher and assistant director of a state school in the south of Quito. She manages teachers and more than 800 students. Since schools have been closed for the COVID 19 crisis, she has had to stay at home with her six year old daughter, Domenica. Her workdays have been intensifying, balancing motherhood, her job, and her own studies. She is facing an economic crisis and the reduction of her salary. Teaching online raises significant difficulties when teaching students, who may lack reliable access to the internet and whose parents may find it hard to support their education at home.
