Claire (15) waits in the lounge at home for the limousine to pick her up and take her to the school prom. She wears a pink ball dress which she found after trying on more than 10 others. The prom is an important event in the school calendar for school leavers, who enjoy one of their last nights together as secondary school students. 'All Dressed up' is a series exploring how various groups of teenage girls socialise and the places which are special to them. Having shadowed groups of youths in post-industrial Durham, photographer Karen Robinson has documented their varied experiences of leisure, friendship and responsibility which play a substantial role in their formative years.
