Delhi Fire Brigade personal douse the a fire at the Gokulpuri Tyre market. When rival groups, largely split between Hindus and Muslims, began protesting for and against the new Citizenship Amendment Act, violence followed especially in the north east of the city where Muslim properties were burnt by Hindu mobs. 53 people, two-thirds Muslim, were killed during the late February 2020 unrest.
