Detail from temple ruin. Angkor Archaeological Park outside Siam Reap contains numerous temples and ruins. Most famous is the Angkor Wat, a temple built by King Suryavarman II. Originally built in honourof the Hindu gods Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu, the temple was later dedicated to Buddhism.
