Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh

Family members carry the body of Ibrahim, a five year old Rohingya refugee boy, for burial. The boy was playing near a flooded canal with some friends when he fell into the fast following stream. The current was too strong for him and he drowned.

In early July 2019, the monsoon rains arrived with four days of continuous rain that destroyed 273 shelters and injured 11 people in the Cox's Bazar refugee settlements, where more than 900,000 Rohingya are living.
