Farangis Siahpour is an actress, award-winning writer and filmmaker, born in Iran and educated at Tehran University. In 2010, at the age of 24, she was invited by the US Department of State to take part in Iowa University's International Writing Program. She now lives in Los Angeles and writes and anchors cultural television programs aired worldwide on the Persian Broadcasting Company.
