Girls using water from a hand pump to cool a pair of ducks aboard the PS Mahsud.Built in a Scottish shipyard on the River Clyde in 1929 this was one of many boats used by the British to carry passengers and cargo around the river systems of British India, a job that it continues to do in Bangladesh today. The surviving paddle steamers are also known by their old nickname of 'Rocket Ships', as they were once the fastest vessels on the rivers.
