In the Drakensberg mountains, near Loskop, 21 year old Lihle Mbele's dresses hang in the wind to dry. She is not only responsible for the family's washing, after the recent death of her mother, she also looks after her two brothers, four cousins and her aunt, who is too weak from Aids and TB to look after her own children. Child-headed households such as this are becoming more common in South Africa, as the Aids epidemic continues to ravage the country.
