In the public library, a group of four mothers and their children come to socialise, read, and play.
Hulda Sif Gunnarsdottir (right) usually brings her daughter, India, twice a week to meet friends. "During COVID it's been difficult to come up with things to do, so I'm glad we have this place", she says. Director Stefania Gunnarsdottir says the library is planning to build a bigger play area to accommodate an increasing number of children.
