Jomogal with one of her children who she lives with, together with her family, in a small tent.
Her daughter Sohila (5 months) is severely malnourished and though Jomogal is trying her best to breastfeed her the amount and quality of the milk is not enough, as she's suffering herself.
The family is surviving on the leftovers of others, but as everyone here is suffering from lack of food they're not getting much and they can't afford any antibiotics for their sick daughter either. Still, they say, it's better than where they fled from. At least there's some hope they'll get help here.
About one thousand people have moved from their villages and farms in the countryside due to the food-crisis, and are now living in subhuman conditions. Their hope is that local government or relief organisations will help them and provide at least some food, medical care and warmer tents. In almost all the small tents there were sick people and no help had yet arrived despite that they had already been waiting for months.
