Kambiz Hosseini, born in 1975, is an Iranian political satirist, actor, television host, and radio host. He created and hosted the successful and critically acclaimed TV show 'Parazit' on Voice of America from 2009 until 2012. The show reached 30 million viewers worldwide. His satirical hit show 'POLETIK' was the most watched Persian political satire show worldwide. Kambiz now writes and hosts a weekly satirical radio show called 'Five in the Afternoon' that is on Radio Farda and produced by the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran. He moved to the US in 2000. In Iran, Kambiz hosted a popular Radio show called 'Islamic revolution blossoms' when he was ten years old. The Washington Post referred to him as the 'Jon Stewart' of Iran.
