Khosrow Beitollahi was born in Shiraz and graduated from the Iranian Air Force Academy - U.S. Air Force Pilot Training Program. He then joining the Imperial Iranian Air Force as a fighter pilot on 1973. After participating in an unsuccessful coup against the newly-formed Islamic Republic on 1980, he fled the country as his life was in danger. In France, he continued striving for regime change by working with Iranian Prime Minister Shapourbakhtiar. Then, after meeting with his family in 1983, he migrated to the United States. Today, he works as a political and human rights activist, and is the General Secretary of the Constitutionalist Party of Iran (Liberal Democrat).
