Labourers at the Anant Bhayar organic farm during their lunch break. The owners have been running the farm for over 20 years, and they currently have a wide range of crops, including lentils, beans, cotton and fruit.They manage the farm on their own and hire labourers whenever needed, so the number of people working on the farm can range from two to 25.
They are proud defenders of organic farming, and state that it has been relatively profitable for them. They tried GM cotton for a few years but saw that it was not working out, so decided to replace it with organic cotton.
