Lory de los Santos, 37, weeps beside the coffin of Joaquin Garbo, 36, at his wake a few hours before his funeral, at Navotas Fishing Port. Joaquin was abducted and executed in what appears to be a drug-related killing on 30 November 2016. Joaquin's nickname was Nono and locals say it was a case of mistaken identity and the killers were looking for Nonong, a known drug dealer who is currently in prison. Joaquin left behind a wife and seven children aged from four months to 17 years. It is customary at a Filipino wake to make sure the coffin is never left unattended so a family member often sleeps beside it.
