Mohamed Amin (40, top right) and his close friend Mohamed Rashid (32, top left) rebuild the Amin family's shelter, which was totally destroyed the night before due to strong winds (reported as gusting up to 60kph). Where Mohamed Amin, his wife and three children live, sits right on a the edge of a ridge line atop of one of the tallest hills in the area, pointing directly south west, the direction from which last night's heavy storm came from.

In early July 2019, the monsoon rains arrived with four days of continuous rain that destroyed 273 shelters and injured 11 people in the Cox's Bazar refugee settlements, where more than 900,000 Rohingya are living.
