Oscar Osorio, a Guatemalan immigrant, sits in his home in Woodbridge, Virginia. He can no longer afford his mortgage repayments, and will soon be moving out. The area is suffering from a major collapse in the housing market following the subprime crisis and global credit crunch, which has forced the foreclosure and abandonment of numerous properties.
