Parham graduated from Alborz College in 1977 and left to study International Business and Finance in New York. He began to study yoga in the 1990s and became a devoted practitioner. In 2000 he started a graduate degree in Classical Chinese Medicine which he was awarded in 2006 and began a healing practice in Great Neck, New York.
