Patrizio Romano helps his friend and neighbour, Tai Whitten, clear out all her belongings from her home in Manassas, Virginia. About two months ago Tai made the decision to cease her mortgage payments and move in with her father. Her house will most probably fall into foreclosure as there have been no potential buyers. The area is suffering from a major collapse in the housing market following the subprime crisis and global credit crunch, which has forced the foreclosure and abandonment of numerous properties.
