Police, Russian Guards and OMON (Special Purpose Mobile Unit) block a road to a peaceful protest against the war in Ukraine on 6 March 2022. People were detained for participating in an unsanctioned rally with some spending up to two days in the departments of internal affairs. The fine issued for a first detention was about equivalent to 250 Euros, for the second, a fine of up to 3,700 Euros and 30 days of administrative fine, for the third detention the arrested person would have criminal liability.
