Preparation of the traditional drink called 'Chicha', made with fermented yucca. Sarayaku tradition is to mix the smashed yucca with female members of the community's saliva. Girls and women have to chew the yucca for hours and split it back in the pot.

Chicha can be drunk like beer, at any time of the day and especially during parties and at meetings.
