Rana Pourarab was born in Tehran. She finished secondary school in Tehran and then moved to United State with her mother in 2002. She went to college in Los Angeles and has now taken up baking as a hobby. Rana and her husband manage a restaurant and she also runs her own private bakery. She has won 5 city and state awards for her baking. Her baking has featured in media and magazines. Her family restaurant - 'Delphi Greek' - has won numerous awrds.
