Research technicians take blood samples from cattle at a farm mangaged by MCI Sante Animale. MCI is developing a bivalent Rift Valley Fever (RVF)/Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) vaccine for cattle, and a trivalent Sheep and Goat Pox (SGP), Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR), Rift Valley Fever (RVF) vaccine for sheep and goats to to establish solid herd immunity against RVF outbreaks through regular vaccination. The project is supported by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
