Rosalie (L) in her third and last year of hairdressing training at the Foyer Sainte Maria de Goretti. She fled her family to avoid forced marriage. On the right Odile, in her first year of training, arrived four years ago, when she was barely 14, fleeing an child marriage.
Since 1951, this Foyer Sainte Maria de Goretti has been welcoming young girls fleeing early and forced marriages. 110 girls are currently in this home which provides them with education or vocational training and tries to help reestablish their family links.
