Roza, 18, a secondary school student, at home, during her online lessons. All lessons have been online since the pandemic began in March 2020.

I get up, take a bath, start the computer, check if the internet works three times, lessons last four to five hours, then I have the rest of the day off. A lot of free time, a lot. Too much. Because there's nothing to do anymore. The movies have been watched, books have been read. I am doing puzzles. But it's not the same as going out every day, because at least I could see something special even on the bus to school. Every day looks the same and nothing changes and there is nothing to do with it anymore. The day is too long. Now even going to the car wash or refuelling seems like a fantastic thing. Because you go out, you get dressed and there are people.'
