Sanaz was born in Tehran in 1974. After leaving the country at the age of seven, she continued going back to visit her family until she started working with Heavy Metal bands around the world and became a well-known journalists. Her fame in the music industry has drawn the attention of the Iranian government and she is now banned from visiting Iran. She is committed to helping musicians and is celebrating her love of music by opening a music studio called Unfriendly Studios in Los Angeles.
