Sonya holds a drawing of her girlfriend, Sasha Skochilenko, made in a pre-trial detention centre. Sasha faces up to 10 years in prison under the laws about 'fakes', for replacing price tags in a supermarket with mini-leaflets with information about Ukraine. Sasha was detained on 11 April 2022. She faced bullying by cellmates and infringement of her rights. Due to her gluten intolerance, she was unable to eat shared food. Transfers of products from her lawyer did not reach her and it took a month for her to achieve adequate nutrition for medical reasons.
