Storm clouds hang over a residential street that looks over the Maud Foster Drain cut as part of a 16th century attempt to control flooding, and drain the Fens for argricultural use.

Immigration has been good for landlords, with houses being subdivided and so rents increasing, which is not so good for the local population being priced out of the housing market. Officially the population grew at twice the national average, though the local authorities council claim that it is far higher.
