Suited protestors spilled fake plastic 'nurdles', oil and cash amongst discarded fishing waste while 'dirty scrubbers' tried to greenwash the pollution as Ocean Rebellion activists protest two issues outside the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) on day one of their conference on pollution prevention and response. First, the continued burning of Heavy Fuel Oil by most ships, a fuel which is illegal to burn on land. Second, the spillages of plastic feedstock 'nurdles' from ships into the sea.
