The self-harm scars of a young Syrian woman who has been trapped in an abusive relationship. Her education was interrupted at the age of 17 by her marriage to a young Syrian man who became abusive and ended her prospects of an education and a career, leaving her trapped in Turkey, unable to make a life for herself or fully break free from her husband.
