The village of Llanymynech viewed from Llanymynech Hill. The left side of the village is in England, the right side is in Wales. The border runs down the middle of the main road that splits the village. Llanymynech hill is reputed to be the place where the rebel king Caractacus made his last stand against the Romans in AD 51.
